CAUSE
The Recipient Update Service (RUS) is configured to use the DC that you demoted. When RUS tries to query the DC for an update, it cannot reach the DC.
RESOLUTION
In Exchange System Manager, expand the Recipients container, and click Recipient Update Services. Double-click each of the Recipient Update Service names, and change the DC name to reflect the new DC in the domain. |
